If things were different

No, the above title doesn't mean that I regret what has been destined to me. I live the days with thankfulness and try to make each a beautiful one--whether the effort is big or small.

But, there are times when I wonder how things would turn up to be should they be different. I imagined it, and know what...I came to a conclusion that how different my life were, it still would not be problem-free. No one has no problem. So, I tend to make more effort to make the days I live as happy as they could be.

dentist dental visitNow, I'm having this bad headache of which cause I don't know. Well, I can guess, it could be out of my lack of sleep or the problem with my teeth. I am supposed to go to the dentist but, to be honest, I'm afraid of what will come. It would be ok if I get only some dental filling but what if the dentist thinks that the teeth must be taken out! OMG, I had three taken out before and I don't want that to happen anymore.

Yeah, I know, I have teeth health issue. My parents said it was because I consumed antibiotic a lot when I was little. I don't know if the medicine really affect my teeth or they just try to make me feel better for not really taking care of my teeth--but I actually did!

Thursday Thirteen - Being a WAHM

13 Things I've Learned from Being a WAHM

About Myself

  • 1. I need a maid, or at least a nanny to play with Hana whenever I need to work.
  • 2. I tend to eat a lot; these 3 months, I've gained 6,5 lbs!!!
  • 3. I become too attached with my computer.
  • 4. I'd prefer working--in my case it's writing or blogging--than cooking.

--------------

About Me and Hubby

  • 5. We work in separate PCs now--he also works at home, and we don't miss each other that much anymore.
  • 6. We chat! Yeah, we use YM to send kisses and some funny talks or links...in a way, it's romantic, and it's also fun because it's like there is a space between us.
  • 7. We become more like friends than husband and wife.

--------------

About Hana

  • 8. She's smarter than I thought.
  • 9. Seeing her growing up each day amazes me a lot. She is tall!
  • 10. We can talk. I thought she would never listened, but she did. If she's feeling upset, I let her cry for awhile, then after that we talk about it and I love it.
  • 11. She is good in negotiating. She knows what to say or offer to get what she wants.
  • 12. I might homeschool yet only in English, not in other subjects. She understands some English words and phrases now--English is not the language used in my country, Indonesia.
  • 13. She has a great imagination. Whenever someone asks her if she wants to have a younger sibling or not, she says, "I already have one, his name is Kemal and he lives in the UK, now." So, who's cheating, me or hubby...in the UK?! Sounds like fun! ;D

My Very First Snackie Sunday

Question:

DO YOU LIKE ANY FAST FOODS?
IF SO, WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE PLACE?
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE TASTY TREAT FROM THAT PLACE?

Answer:

Well, I'm not a big fan of fast foods--craving for them every single day kind of thing--and honestly, I try to keep my daughter away from them. Yet, frankly speaking I enjoy Wendy's chili baked potato, some Burger Kings', AW's Mozza Burger and Hokahoka Bento's prawn and teriyaki once in a blue moon.

When I was little, I loooooved KFC but growing up, I change my mind. I only take my daughter there--and McD--because it offers a free playing ground. My daughter also doesn't like the chicken, she prefers the spaghetti better.

Watch...

what you say type.

This weekend, I've just learned a good lesson in the world of blogging and commenting.

It seems like I have hurt some people with my words. I didn't mean it that way. I said it for being concern on something else. Shortly, they hated what I said and asked me to be more polite.

I did apologize in their blog (by commenting there), in my own blog, and by e-mail.

They have accepted my apology by e-mail. Yet, before knowing that--as their reply went to spam box--I saw someone saying bad things about my daughter. ANONYMOUS person.

I thought it had something to do with what I said. It might have not been those persons that I accidentally hurt before. But, I made a comment again on their blog saying that I have forgiven whoever saying those bad things about my daughter.

Everything happening this weekend wouldn't have to happen if I watched my words better. I have to be more careful in saying things. I might not mean bad but others might see it differently.

This happened once before. I had a friend ho said something in my blog that hurt other people and I tried to be in between by explaining something. But, that friend thought that I offended her although it wasn't like that. Then, I apologized. But she preferred not to be my friend anymore. That was her right to do so.

At least, if I have hurt someone (or someone thought that I hurt them although I didn't mean it), I do apologize. I am not a coward.

In the blogging world, people can only see who you really are by words--and pictures you post. Well, written language sometimes offers too many meanings. And, you just have to be careful in expressing them.

I want to love your shortcomings
To always make you happy
No matter what
I promise to be there

("I Want" by Once)

Looking at the beauty of your smile
Makes me quiet and gets me stunned
I sense the most beautiful love in my heart
While you’re holding me tight

You’re my blood
You’re my heart
You’re my life
You complete me
Oh dear, you’re so perfect…perfect

It reminds me of a heart
Showered by dreams
Where you went to, love
The lonely trip
You took by yourself

The leaves fall
But my heart for you love shines like twinkling stars
Lightening my soul

Meet The "Write at Home Mom"

Previously, the blog title was WideImagination. It was something I wished for to help me write. Seems like I've got it now in me.

But now, I'd like to turn this blog into the real me, who and what I really am, now. I am now a Write at Home Mom. I work as a writer, I do it at home, and I'm a mom. So, the new title: Write at Home Mom suits me best.

So far, I enjoy working at home. Yet, we never know what will happen in the future. I might be working at an office again, one day. Who knows? But, for now...I like being a Write at Home Mom! I can take Hana to school, can see her whenever I want, can be the first to hear her funny new words, can be the one to answer her hilarious questions. And, many other things.

Now, if you happen to see "Write at Home Mom" somewhere...that's me!

Do You Like This Song?

Lately, I've been turning into teenagers who are crazy about songs and try to memorize the lyrics.

I did that when I was 12-18 years old. I remembered every word of every song I loved. Afterwards, I didn't care that much.

And, now, suddenly, I don't know why...I become that young girl again. I collect lyrics.

Now, it's "Love of my Life" lyrics. It's a song by Queen. I guess Extreme sang it, too, back then when I was 14 or something, early 90's.

Love of my life...it's a sad song. But, I love to sing it because it has power inside the lyrics, the words. It's like you are trying to make your love of your life comes back to you. Well, the song doesn't tell if the love finally comes back or not. But, we have to appreciate the effort, don't you think?

So, let's sing together!

Love of my life - you've hurt me You've broken my heart and now you leave me Love of my life can't you see Bring it back, bring it back Don't take it away from me, because you don't know What it means to me Love of my life don't leave me You've taken my love, (all of my love) and now desert me Love of my life can't you see (Please bring it back) bring it back, bring it back (back) Don't take it away from me (take it away from me) Because you don't know (ooh ooh ooh know means to me) What it means to me Who will remember When this is blown over And everything's all by the way - (ooh yeah) When I grow older I will be there at your side to remind you How I still love you - (i still love you) Ooh, back - hurry back Please bring it back home to me Because you don't know what it means to me Love of my life Love of my life Ooh, ooh

TT - 13 Romantic Wishes

My hubby is not a romantic person. Yet, I never stop wishing for a romantic session with him...

  1. A second honeymoon in the same place that we went to for our first honeymoon. It's Kampung Sampireun in Garut, West Java.
  2. A candle light dinner in a fancy restaurant where he secretly orders a band to accompany me sing my favorite songs.
  3. Fill our bedroom with flowers.
  4. Tell me to get out of the house for two or more hours, and when I got home, he already prepares the table and the food--his own cooking if possible, if eatable, if not, some delicious meals from some resto would do me good.
  5. Sing a song for me right after I wake up...I prefer "You Make My World So Colorful" by Daniel Sahuleka--because from what I heard, he wrote the song after seeing his wife waking up and looking so pretty in one morning.
  6. Write a song for me--he used to be able to write songs, I wish he would write another one for me...
  7. Sending me a poem by airmail.
  8. Surprise me of an unthinkable thing--I can't think of it now.
  9. Surprise me with a voucher from a bookstore--unlimited one! Ha!
  10. Close my eyes and bring me to a shopping center and let me smell some perfumes and let me choose one or two (or three) just by smelling them and shop a dress for me that he only allows me to wear with him--no need to be a sexy one, just something pretty for me to wear.
  11. Fly me to a beautiful place where he makes sure that I would not be able to think of anything else--works, deadlines--but romance.
  12. A romantic video tape where he says everything nice about me and beautiful things about us.
  13. Read this post! Ha!

A little help would do

Let's just admit it. Sometimes, we need an extra amount of sex days and days before our payday. At least I do. Sometimes, money becomes so tight yet there are lots of things to buy. This gives me headache. And well, it gets me stressed out too!

Luckily, sometimes, I can borrow some from my Mom or my brothers. But, you just can't do it all the time, can you?

Where else can you go for a little help? Not everybody can happily lend you money other than your family, right?

Well, actually, there are lots of cash advance and payday loans website to visit. You can get that little help you need and get you out of stress. However, you just don't know which gives you the best offer, right? You need more information on the products. Are they reliable? Would they give you as much benefit?

Before deciding to take a cash advance or payday loan, you need to make sure about every single thing they offer. This has to help you not cause you any other problems. You have to figure out which offer flexible payment options, which provides you with quick and easy process, and which have good reputations.

You have to choose one of the best ones only, remember that. You are looking for a help, not for another problem!

It's always fun taking quizzes!

You Are Fairly Normal

You scored 50% normal on this quiz

Like most people you are normal in some ways...
But you aren't a completely normal person. You're a little weird too!

Why You Are Normal:

You prefer a good meal to a good nap

If you had to, you rather live without music and still have laughter

You prefer ruffled potato chips

You think fishnet stockings are trashy

You know a lot about a few subjects

Why You Aren't Normal:

You rather screw someone over than be screwed over

You would rather be tan than pale

You eat the cupcake first

You find the Chicken Dance to be the more embarrassing dance

You prefer the moon to the sun

What Nadiah Alwi Means

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

You are usually the best at everything ... you strive for perfection.
You are confident, authoritative, and aggressive.
You have the classic "Type A" personality.

You are balanced, orderly, and organized. You like your ducks in a row.
You are powerful and competent, especially in the workplace.
People can see you as stubborn and headstrong. You definitely have a dominant personality.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.
Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.
Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

You are very charming... dangerously so. You have the potential to break a lot of hearts.
You know how what you want, how to get it, and that you will get it.
You have the power to rule the world. Let's hope you're a benevolent dictator!
