As mentioned before, hubby and I decided to return the laptop I bought 'coz it kinda caused much trouble. So, we're back into this one and only computer of my hubby's.

His business needs internet connection, mine, too. And, mybabyhana sometimes thinks she needs it as well to check out (read: play in) some sites provising online games such as Barneys, PBS Kids, Barbie, etc.

So, can you imagine how tired the computer would be with me and him, plus mybabyhana, three internet addicts?

Well, we're just trying to make a living (and mybabyhana is just trying to have fun). I believe the compie (its nickname) would understand anyway.

So, compie, we all love you, please take care and stay out of viruses and be healthy!

Previously, I have told you about my desire to go to France. Not, I will focus on Paris, its capital.

I have some friends living there. I bet they want me to stay at their place, even for just one night. But, that's what I want. I'd rather not stay in the hotels--which have almost the same feeling everywhere, don't you think?--and would prefer to look for a Paris bed and breakfast instead.

I'd rather live it. No, I don't think I want to be one of the tourists. I want to feel the life, the beautiful life in the wonderful city. And, that will do only in the B&B Paris. I'd also be able to practice my French. I've been speaking the language since I was 18--now I'm 30 and no, I'm not ashamed of that number, yet--ad I'd love to just speak and speak that lovely language all my trip. And, don't forget, la cuisine! I'll be indulging my tongue with some French delicious meals.

What a lovely imagination! Wish it to happen anytime soon.

Things have been changed lately. I’ve figured out some interesting facts about my life and my family’s. So, I think some plans are required.

1. Get myself my own desk. This has been done. I’ve got my own desk. Not the big one I brought from my ex-office, but the one my hubby just bought and assembled yesterday. It’s smaller and fits my room well. I put it in front of the window—will show you the picture later on.

2. Get an Internet connection. Today was the big day. The technician came today and fixed it. God, it’s good to be back!

3. Move out. It’s about time. We have been asking for information to our friends about some rented house. We don’t know yet when to move out but it’s planned!

4. Sell stuff. It’s for sure that if we move out, the new home will be very tiny. So, we decided to sell our stuffs that are big and replace them with some simple and petite things.

5. Get another translating job. The one I am doing is about to get done. So, hopefully by midst of this month, I’ve got a new task.

6. Make more money to get settled. To be honest, it’s a bit up and down lately when it comes to money. But, hey, money is not the thing that can make you happy, right? So, yes, thank God we’re happy, still.

7. Write more. In a way, it is related to # 6 but in other way, it is not. I need to write for my own good, my own happiness.

8. Run a business. I know what kind of business that suits me and it’s about to be started, soon, I hope!

9. Lose weight! Oh, well, being a , I don’t have to walk around 1600 steps each day to work—yes, I counted, one way is 800 steps—, and I have to eat those yummy foods my Mom makes. Oh yes, they’re yummy!

10. Help my parents more. No, they never ask for me to lend a hand, I just feel I need to. Since I was born, they were there for me, it’s time for me to be there for them.

11. Have my 2nd book published. God, help me so next year there will be another book…

12. Prepare for my daughter’s further education. It’s both the fund and the institution. My hubby and I need to look for the right school. So far, we’re still hoping that we won’t have to send her to some public schools and we have enough money to send her to just some middle-class private school yet with great curriculums and teaching methods. I wish I could homeschool her, but I don’t think I have the patience and quality.

13. Move out…oh, I’ve said that already?

This idea of being a WAHM has come to me since last year after reading some American women's blog (it could be your blog). I kept imagining how it would be like to be able to work from home.

Being a WAHM interests me very much for 2 main reasons: one, it can make me be closer to my daughter, Hana; two, well, to be honest, there are times when I become a very very lazy person who whishes to just stay at home and blog all day (yeah, rite!).

I am a very bad decision maker. I hate to make any more decisions. I'm the kind of person who just lets my life go with the flow. If, let's say, I'm water and there are two streams ahead, I won't have to choose one, instead, I'll be simply flowing to wherever my body goes.

So, no, I didn't choose to be a WAHM. The situation led me the way. After struggling for almost a year, the company I've been working for decided to end the office rent by the end of this month. Yet, there are still some projects. So, it's not closing down, yet I was simply asked to get the projects done at home.

That's a good news! For me, it is.

So, now, I'm a bit both excited and nervous. I can't wait 'til the day where I can work from home comes yet I'm afraid to have it come so quickly I don't know how to deal with it.

In addition to the excitement of working from home, I got a new translation project. Now, it's a middle east literature that I will have to work on until mid November. It's something new. Previously, I did an absurd novel, a suspense novel, romance, and children books (up until now 5,5--0,5 of the novel I'm translating is not done yet). But never a mid east novel.

Now, about my worries. I'm the kind of person who prefers stability over anything. I don't like changes. I don't like uncertainty. I'd like to have everything well managed. It seems like, being a WAHM, I have to learn to love changes, to deal better with uncertainty, to be more flexible with my plan and management of life. So much to learn.

But, well, I think I'll be starting this new phase of life with curiosity, excitement and a bit of nervousness. I hope I'll be able to make it. I just need to be positive about this 'decision' made by circumstances.

Yet, would you please wish me luck and pray for me so that things will be just fine? And, this will be my live-happily-ever-after...

I get so excited. A dear friend asked me to collaborate with her on a project. I always call her Ms. Ideable coz she has such an amazing amount of ideas in her head.

I've worked with her on some projects a few years ago. All were great.

And, now, we're about to do something together again. I'm excited!
